Aerial Drone Roof Inspections
Aerial Drone Photography for Roof Inspections, Why It Matters.
We make every attempt to walk on and visually inspect a roof, if it is safe to do so and the roof covering is not susceptible to damage. When safety or damage is a concern, we utilize drone photography. Roofs that are more susceptible to damage (Spanish and concrete tile, cedar shakes and shingles, Slate, etc.) or unsafe (steep pitch, wet, moss or mildew covered, extensive damage or deterioration) are examples of roofs that would be inspected with drone photography.
Shown in the photographs are examples of roof damage that was found with drone photography, this damage was not visible from the ground or from a ladder at the eaves.
The use of drones during a home inspection is a critical aspect. A drone allows us to go beyond normal limitations, see things others can’t, and find inaccessible issues on your home.
Drone technology is just one of the many reasons so many people choose FBI for all of the home inspection needs!
