Not long ago, it was a relatively simple thing to hop in your car, drive over to the store, pick up a few things you need, and bring them home. Unfortunately, this pandemic has made this “relatively simple thing” a bit more complicated. But before you go out on your essential shopping activities, consider a few questions you might ask yourself:
- Do I really need to go out right now? It could be that online shopping or delivery services may be an option for the items you need.
- Is there a better time of day for me to go shopping? Some stores have adjusted their hours of operation, and in any case, it could be safer to shop when there are fewer people at the store.
- Do I need to bring the whole family with me, or can just one person handle this errand? Limiting the number of people in a store not only protects your family from exposure, but also helps protect others.
